What accommodations are there nearby?
Guests have a few options regarding accommodations. Florence is a 30-minute drive away from the wedding venue and has many hotels and Airbnbs. There are also Airbnb options closer to the wedding venue. If you would like recommendations or support finding something suitable, please let us know.
How do I get to the wedding venue?
Both the ceremony & reception will be taking place at Castello di Mugnana.

The venue is situated 15km south of Florence, which translates to a 30-minute car ride. People can fly into Rome and drive or take the train to Florence, or fly into Florence directly. If you would not like to rent a car or scooter to travel around during the wedding weekend, drivers can be hired from the Florence airport to take you to the castle or nearby accommodations; a taxi costs between €30-50.
Please note that there will likely be some kind of transportation to and from the wedding venue on the day of the wedding.
Is there a dress code for the wedding?
We believe people have the most fun when they feel comfortable. Please wear what you want to our wedding ceremony and reception, whether that be a a sundress, gown, suit, or something else.
Please note that the weather in Tuscany in mid-September ranges from 27°C during the day to 15°C at night.
Is there anything happening on the days before or after the wedding on September 19th?
Access to the castle will begin on Thursday September 17th at 4:00pm. On the days other than the wedding (Saturday September 19th), people are free to come hang out at the castle or do their own activities. More information to come about additional planned activities, should people want to participate.

Florence is 30 minutes away by car, with lots of museums, historical sites, shopping, and amazing food.
Chianti, the region of Tuscany the castle is located in, is known for their wine and olive oil. Consider visiting a winery or taking an olive oil tour.
Tuscany is a beautiful area explore to by bicycles or scooters, which can be rented easily.
Pisa is 1 hour and 30 minutes away, and Siena is 1 hour away by car.
Note: There is a pool at the castle. Pack your swimsuits for some poolside fun!
Do you have a wedding registry?
We appreciate the time and expense that celebrating our wedding in person with us entails, and your presence is gift enough. As such, we do not have a wedding registry, however there will be a place for cards to be left at the reception should you wish to write us a note.
